Vinícius Júnior

Vinícius Júnior is a Brazilian forward who developed into one of Real Madrid’s most dangerous attacking players through explosive acceleration, close control and direct running. After arriving from Flamengo as a teenager, he developed his finishing and decision-making while becoming a major contributor in domestic and European competition. His performances in decisive Champions League matches have helped establish his reputation as a big-game attacker.

Vinícius usually starts from the left and attacks defenders with acceleration, changes of direction and close control. He can beat opponents on the outside or cut inside to combine with teammates and shoot. His off-ball movement also makes him dangerous when attacking space behind a defensive line. His influence depends on receiving the ball in situations where he can face defenders and accelerate into open space.

At Goat Arena, Vinícius should be assessed through chance creation, successful one-on-one actions, progressive carries, finishing and performances in major matches. Goals are important, but his ability to stretch defences and create space for teammates is also central to his value.
