Oleg Salenko

Oleg Salenko secured his place in FIFA World Cup history with an extraordinary performance at USA 1994. The Russian striker scored five goals against Cameroon in a single match, setting a record that remains unmatched.

Salenko was a traditional attacking forward who relied on intelligent positioning, movement inside the penalty area and clinical finishing. His ability to recognize scoring opportunities made him particularly dangerous in front of goal.

At Goat Arena, Salenko represents one of the most extraordinary individual performances in World Cup history. Although his international career was brief, his five-goal performance against Cameroon became a permanent part of football history.
