Goat Arena Perspective

Michel Platini was one of football’s greatest playmakers, combining extraordinary vision, precise passing, free-kick mastery and an exceptional ability to score goals from midfield.

An intelligent attacking midfielder who controlled the rhythm of matches, created chances with exceptional passing and regularly arrived in scoring positions. His free kicks, positioning and ability to read the game made him one of the most influential midfielders of his generation.

Platini represents the rare combination of a creative number ten and a prolific goalscorer. His 1984 European Championship remains one of the greatest individual tournament performances in international football.
