Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham is an English midfielder who rose through Birmingham City’s first team before developing into a leading young player at Borussia Dortmund. His move to Real Madrid in 2023 brought him onto football’s biggest stage, where his ability to carry the ball, arrive in scoring positions and contribute across midfield made him an important part of the team. He combines physical presence with technical quality and tactical flexibility.

Bellingham can operate as a box-to-box midfielder or in a more advanced role behind the striker. He drives forward with the ball, presses opponents, supports defensive transitions and times runs into the penalty area. His physicality helps him compete for possession, while his close control and passing allow him to connect midfield with attack. His best role depends on the balance of the midfield around him.

At Goat Arena, Bellingham should be assessed through his all-round contribution rather than goals alone. Ball progression, pressing, defensive recoveries, chance creation and movement into the box help explain how he influences matches. His age and role changes across clubs should be considered when comparing his seasons.
